I finally bought the MSI Gt72 2QD and effectively the panel is IPS (LP173WF4-SPF1 ).
Now I have a problem with my panel .
In the upper right corner of the screen seems to be something like " ghosting " .

By displaying a static image for a period of time (3-4min are enough ) this leaves a trail or shadow visible only with light-colored background (eg default blue color windows start) and this shadow takes several minutes disappear.

There is some kind of solution to this problem or I'll have to choose a return ?

You should probably contact the retailer laptop was purchased from. Otherwise get in touch with MSI

Does gently manipulating the corner of the screen impact this ghosting?

I tried to apply pressure gently to the affected corner and does not seem to solve anything.
I have also tried several videos with quick images about 2h , but the problem persists .
Attached a picture for you to see it.

While its brand new I would go for a return or exchange ..doesn't look right , with time it may be even worse .Laptop of this magnitude and price cannot allow to have this kind of faults , return it asap.

This is only an example. In this picture can see a shadow of the google chrome tool bar on the upper corner.

That does look very odd I agree and is not normal.

It is not normal, best to contact point of purchase for exchange, otherwise contact MSI directly if it's beyond return period.

Well, I got my laptop back from RMA. The SSD was replaced and it is working now, however, the AC adapter no longer works so I cannot charge it. This is just great.

Did you send AC adapter altogether for the RMA?
Does your AC adapter have a LED light (power indicator) on it?
