    The lack of HK SKU's is deeply concerning...their main strength was not necessarily OC but the ability to use fixed frequency instead of turbo that would throttle down after a few seconds anyways.

    I wonder what the thermals will be like with the GTX1080 non MaxQ.

    Very interesting that MSI is releasing a smaller form factor of the GT series

    It seems to just be the successor to the GT62. Pretty much the same weight.

    That's exactly what it is. It's just an updated GT62. The GT62 had the 15.6" screen and the GT72 had the 17" screen. Although there was a rare SKU of the GT62VR which had an unlocked HK processor (6820HK) but I do not recall any GT72VR's with that processor.

    I'm trying to understand why it's being called a Titan. If it had an unlocked SKU, then sure, call it a Titan (even if it's a mini titan). But there's absolutely nothing Titan about this.

    Well just be thankful that it has the rare bullet-point feature "Heat Management". SOLD.

    It looks like they also smartly (maybe this was just the 16L13) but the previous one didn't have a USB port on the left side. At least they did the minimum and put one on that side this time. And when I say minimum I mean it, it's only 2.0 instead of 3.1.

    EDIT:

    Yeah I guess it's only the 16L13 that lacked any ports on the left, the GT62 has one.

    Looking at the images, it's the SAME EXACT CHASSIS as the GT62. They didn't change anything.

    Core i7-8850H’s partial unlock allows for DRAM overclocking and a 400MHz CPU overclock, but not more. So TITAN with a * ?

    Looks to be the only BGA laptop (Excluding LGA laptops)offering a full-fat 1080 in a 15" chassis. AFAIK the AW15 is a Max-Q 1080. Looks interesting to me.

    @Donald@HIDevolution - The HIDevolution site gives the option of configuring the GT63 8RG with 2 M.2 drives + 1 2.5" drive, while the MSI website lists the GT63 8RG with 1 M.2 + 1 2.5" drive. Could you please clarify? Thanks :)
