This applies to GT72VR specifically but I assume GT62VR's as well:

ARE THERE ANY GT72VR OWNERS IN THE USA, EITHER 6700HQ OR 7700HQ OWNERS, WHO CAN VERIFY THAT USA MODELS USED THE BATTERY WHILE GAMING ON AC POWER, at maximum CPU+GPU combined loads (MUST be pulling over 170W to the system)?

Also USA OWNERS please download RW EVERYTHING, go to EMBEDDED CONTROLLER and please post a SCREENSHOT of the EC RAM page with the EC registers clearly visible. Thank you :)
This is important. Trying to help out someone here....

I'll ask this again because I asked before and not a single person offered to help--even people WITH systems.

Can someone PLEASE, with a GT72VR, a *USA* or Canadian system, with a 7700HQ and a GTX 1070, OR a 6700 HQ and a GTX 1070, PLEASE download RW Everything (it's a very small program and will only take 30 seconds of your time), install it, go to the EC TAB (Embedded Controller) and please post a screenshot of your EC RAM registers? I'm trying to help someone and I cant do much if no one else will help.

    Thank you.

Bonus points if both GT62VR And GT72VR dumps are posted.

    I said GT62VR *AND* GT72VR.
There is no dedicated GT72VR thread for GTX 1070 and 7700HQ's, since this refresh didn't change anything. Not sure if you've been paying attention or not. The chassis is the same so both systems were discussed together. Even notebookcheck's review mentioned that.

    So You think that GT62 comes with i7-6700HQ and GT72 it's the same but with i7-7700HQ? That's wrong. GT62 it's a 15,6" notebook (either i7-6700HQ or i7-7700HQ) and You're asking about GT72 (17" model, either i7-6700HQ or i7-7700HQ) problems. There are many differences ;)

Which do you is is better?

    1. MSI GT62VR 7RE (7700HQ, GTX 1070)
    2. ASUS GL503VS SCAR Edition (7700HQ, GTX 1070)

does anyone knows their pros and cons with each other?

The GT62VR. The chassis is far superior and you shouldn't have thermal problems compared to that entry level Asus.
The gt62vr portability isn't the best out there but perfomance and cooling are perfect. Design is more a personal thing and price depends on your region, in my country it's overpriced and unaffordable with the gtx 1070.
