Ran 3dmark FireStrike at stick clocks and scored 6515. Not too shabby. 58C max GPU.

Lol xD that's the problem, I have no clue what a dremel is, neither do I know how to flash a bios xD. Besides I've been having some issues my gpu all of a sudden so I have to figure that out :/ it keeps on switching between intergrated graphics and nvidia graphics very fast, and it's making my laptop overheat on idle -.- here's a screenshot link to that Gyazo - c1a5130ebd8cc39e3cc760fb61fc419f.png . Anyways back to the mod, I will probably do the mod next year, so that I know what I am doing xD

Hello very interesting overview of replacement but tell me if I can upgrade as GT 70 ONC (gtx 670mx) on gtx 970m?:hi2:
And nemogli would put vbios to successfully perform the upgrade?:hi2:

Rexstorz the upgrade should also work on your system. However I can't say for 100% certainty because nobody has tested it yet.

If the system does recognize the card with no bios updates required you will still need a 780/880m heat sink and then modify that heatsink as shown in the photos from my original posts.

The GTX670MX Heatsink should be also work, because it´s the same Heatsink, but without CPU Bridge. This Heatsink was used in Devices with GTX670MX, GTX675MX and GTX680M. I use this Heatsink at this time with a GTX770M.

@REXSTORZ are you sure, that you have a GTX670MX ? Normaly comes the GT70 0NC with a GTX670M. Because than you need a new Heatsink.

Well it could likely be modded too but would be more difficult.
