Thanks much for the response! However I must apologize, I wasn't very clear on what was I was asking. Mainly I was referring to any apps/drivers that are specific to MSI or this model that the folks here recommend I re-install after a clean OS install. Sounds like Steel Series drivers from the web site, Dragon Center, and Killer suite are recommended. After installing these, then I'll move on to the regular applications I want to install. Anything else? Thanks!

Fantastic! Thanks montobrah! Exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I think with this I am ready to pull the trigger on my system wipe/re-install.

How does Nahimic boost the sound without allowing the process to run at startup? It is after all a software enhancement. It needs to run. It didn't physically change out my speakers to be better did it?

it's a software enhancement. Not a very good one in my opinion. I uninstalled it and control everything manually

Hopefully these come through because I'm uploading them from my phone. These are a lot better than the unit I initially had from my review. They're still not perfect but a lot less sharp than before.

I can barely fit a business card in the worst spot, which is the front. The speaker jacks are pretty flush now. The only other slightly bad spot is the cpu exhaust, which can fit a sheet of paper. I think I had similar pics of the bad one on my review to compare.

Does this laptop have a super charger USB port that outputs more power than normal? USB 3 is 0.9amp up from 0.5amp on USB 1 and 2. However I recall previous MSI laptops had a dedicated fast charging port that output 2amp. Does this laptop have one?

Has anyone tried to undervolt the GPU or CPU? Was it easy? Did it drop temperature appreciably without undermining performance?
