I just picked up the GE75 with the 2080 and 32GB on GentechPC - had to take advantage of their new year's sale for repasting and improved thermal pads.:D
Super excited to get it! I'm on an older Sager with a 980M and it's starting to struggle sometimes.
I'm already used to a ~3 hour battery life, so I figure this one will be better. What kind of battery have you folks managed to get out of it (with or without undervolting) in just normal use?

Lucky. I'm still waiting on mine from GentechPC. :( Should be shipping in a few days though.

Check eBay for another stick of SK Hynix HMA82GS6CJR8N-VK if you want the same as OEM. They go for super cheap.

CL19 is super slow though, it doesn’t meet JEDEC spec for 2666MHz. Get some CL15 if you want an upgrade.

What is the fastest memory this could realistically run and use? Does it support XMP?

Yes it supports XMP, you need to unlock the BIOS and enable the XMP profile though.

IIRC someone has 2666MHz overclocked to 3400MHz or something.

They overclocked the cheapie SK Hynix HMA82GS6CJR8N-VK to 3400 stable? Nice.
Wondering how a pair of Gskill 3200mhz would perform and OC then.

I believe it was stock Samsung on a GS65. I think it was Hackness that did it.

Can you enable it through the unlock code?

Also these should be good eh?

Yes, go into the overclocking options menu and enable overclocking, then go to memory and you can set the profile to default, XMP or custom (which lets you set your own multipliers). If you push it too far and can’t boot, a CMOS reset will clear memory profiles IIRC.

Check amazon, I got my HyperX there for like $50 cheaper vs MemEx.
