Finally got my machine earlier this week. Wow, this thing is awesome! I'll be giving this thing a real whirl this weekend, but so far it runs super smoothly. The only caveat is that the fans are a bit loud. I'm still fiddling with lots of the settings to see how the video card manages different programs, right now when I alt-tab out of games the desktop becomes unusually bright. Oh, and I also changed my background for windows and MS installed the same background on my other computer! I guess the MS account syncs all your computers? That seems a rather odd setting to default to, I'll have to do some research on how to change that.

There is indeed a setting for microsoft that syncs your machine. If you are using the same windows account across devices you might have enabled it, or maybe microsoft enabled it automatically, but you can certainly disable it, no worries.

I didn't and had no issues. Haven't gone into the bios to see if the settings were reset though.

What software should we be using for the killer wifi card? Is it killer network control center and killer network drivers? Do we need both of them? Or is Intel proset wireless enough? I am not sure.

Did you notice any improvements, specially in noise level?

My local Microcenter has the 2080 model with 32GB and 2x512GB SSD on sale down from $2749 to $2399.

    The temptation is real.

Well, I've stuck a second 16 GB stick in there for 32 GB total in dual channel and... that absolutely was the problem. It blows my mind that the system ships with a 25-35% performance nerf. My framerates are where they should be and I'm loving it.

If you buy a GE75 Raider with a single stick of RAM, you will get 25-35% less performance than your system is capable of. Buy a second stick for dual-channel operation IMMEDIATELY.

Thanks for your help, Jalen9762. You saved me!

I just want to say it is worth the extra money for getting it customized from a retailer with liquid metal and fuji ploy pads. Just something to think about.
