It’s so tempting just to pull the trigger on this and cry about it later lol

Looks like core differential was addressed. And temperatures are not all that different from GS65 2018. On my 14000 FS score run I hit 88 degrees, so feeling pretty good about my last gen GS65.

I will also need to see how much it will cost to upgrade and if it's worth it. I have the 8RF.

If you're happy with your GS65 1070 max-q's performance then its not worth it.

If you do need the performance, consider getting an eGPU.

I travel a lot so the eGPU wouldn’t be a good option for me. I’m happy with the 1070 max q but I’m also a performance junkie. I think I’ve talked myself into upgrading and I’ll try to sell off my current gs65.

Haha, I understand what you mean. ;)

If you can afford to do so, why not if it makes your day.

Looks like no problems with temp differential.

For those who get it if you could please post.

    1. Stock temps on idle
    2. Temps after cinebench's run
    3. Temps during Firestrike and score
    4. Temps with AIDA64 graph
    5. Temps with Prime95 (AVX off)

    10 minute benchmarks is fine.

I think I would need another 700 after selling mine in order to upgrade to the 2080.

PC World review on the MSI GS75, is kinda scary, not much performance gain vs price.

Thinking maybe waiting for 9th gen CPU with RTX if I can't get my current GS65 sold for a reasonable price.

For those of you who've already placed their orders, I'd like to see if any of you opted for upgrades from a boutique or purchased a stock machine.

Nice! That's an option I'm definitely going for as well.
