Not sure why, but silentoption from time to time would trigger the GPU to turn on (white LED turning orange) and would drain battery life. Anyone know a way to stop it from doing so besides restarting the app?

Try to put it to use iGPU (if possible).

Already had that on. It still triggers the dGPU mode and kicks fans in after a certain event (not sure which, I've only been using MSWord and Dev++).

Anyone having flakey USB port issues? Sometimes when my Audeze Mobius are plugged in, audio craps out and performance visibily drops for a second.

Update: isolated issue to the cables. Both cables for my Audeze Mobius were faulty and after swapping to a higher quality cable, no more issues. That faulty cable would cause machine to freeze when my headset bugs out and stops being recognized.

BIG EDIT: 8SE version, I apologise for the confusion.

    @eyek @eurodj101 @Kevin@GenTechPC , I can finally confirm that I have found a 90W VBIOS with the mDP working for the 9SE (RTX 2060).

    VBIOS is found here.

Guide used is below - The only thing I did different was uninstall and reinstall latest Nvidia Drivers after restarting post vBIOS Flash.

Notes: I was unable to get my mDP to function when I was flashing different vBIOS, I tried three different VBIOS back to back and then decided to go back to stock and still could not get it to work UNTIL I uninstalled and reinstalled Nvidia drivers (I used DDU).

Wow that's awesome. Were you able to tweak the function and do some benchmark? Perhaps this can show you whether the upgrade works or not. Thank you. :)

The 2nd screenshot was only posted to show the TDP value, it doesnt accept unsigned VBIOS, so while you could tweak and save it will never let it flash. I have not benchmarked yet. I was only interested in getting mDP back. I may download Firestrike later and test (recently reformatted and only have productivity apps installed).

So around the same performance as the previous ASUS 90W BIOS I listed with the non-working MiniDP.

OCed with the following BIOS Tweaks
    TDC:

    1. CPU Power and Performance: CPU VR Settings
      1. Cora I/A Domain
        1. IA AC/DC Loadline = 1
      2. VR Current Limit: 928
      3. TDC: Disabled
        1. Value 0
    2. GPU:
      1. Frequency: 1050 MHz
    IMON SLOPE:

    1. IMON Slope: 50
    2. IMON Offset: 31999
    3. IMON Offset Prefix: NEGATIVE (-)

    Hackness' Guide

    1. Power & Performance: CPU
      1. Power Management Control
        1. View/Configure CPU Lock Options
          1. CFG Lock: DISABLED
    2. CPU Information
      1. CPU Flex Ratio Override: ENABLED
      2. CPU Flex Ratio Settings: 8
    1. Software Guard Extension (SGX): DISABLED
    2. Enable Speedshift

    GPU:

    1. PEGO:
      1. ASPM: DISABLED

    Memory OC:

    1. 12x 19-20-49-20-28-52782-647 1.25V

    Core: 220
    Memory: 400

STOCK (80W) -No OCs: 13136 FS Score

NOTE: Not at all scientific, I took the results of one control I had saved from when I first bought the laptop.

The current FS Score is just the top I got off max of 2 tests. Funny how its the 2nd highest I have ever gotten. I have reached 16XXX+ but could never replicate it.

Current ambient temp (Google Search) - 28C, fans on max 150% CPU/GPU, laptop back is elevated with small laptop stand.

My intention with this post is just to communicate that it provides the near the same if not equal performance to the previous 90W VBIOS I listed from ASUS where the mDP did NOT work.

HUGE EDIT: This is for the 8SE version, I apologise for the confusion.
