The voltage now is oddly lower than before I flashed the 150w 2080 vbios. It used to go to 0.73v but is now only around 0.65v

I put the limit at 0.8 volts but its not doing anything since the voltage is a lot lower than that.

    GPU-Z and Hwinfo64

Update: Voltage locking in AB does nothing

It seems to draw a stable 150w during load but when measuring from the wall its using less power than when the 90w vbios was used.

Looks like Hwinfo64 is misreading the power draw.

I bought this single 16gb stick from crucial and it runs just fine in dual channel with the stock stick that already came with the computer. This stick is at a much better price now: $64.99:

I just purchased this laptop from best buy. It came with 1 stick of 16gb ram. I want to upgrade to 32gb and go dual channel. I cant seem to find what kits are compatible with this laptop. Can you guys let me know which one you used.

    I used ADATA

    SODIMM DDR4 16GB (1x16G) ADATA 2666MHz RAM PN AD4S2666316G19-R

It doesn't OC as well as my stock Kingston RAM. It gets to 3000 MHz but at CL 19

Any brand is okay but make sure to get a matched pair of DDR4 SODIMM. You can choose to go with stock speed or higher speeds for overclocking use.

An unmatched pair is also OK for milder overclocking according to several reddit users.Though a matched pair is the best.

And prioritse getting a pair with Samsung B die over a higher specced pair with other dies if you plan on overclocking the ram.

I was looking at this kit on newegg

https://www.newegg.com/corsair-32gb-260-pin-ddr4-so-dimm/p/N82E16820233989. Im probably not going to be overclocking the ram at all. I mainly want to get dual channel to help with FPS in some games. maybe Ill add a 1tb 970 evo while im in there.
