You have nothing to loose. Try to find other bios. Maybe your vga is simply damaged :(??

    Hello there.

I'm looking for a spare motherboard (MS-1722), because the northbridge is dying on mine.

Anyone in EU would have a spare one ? Or at least I'll be grateful to know a place where to buy one...
About any incoming question, I don't have money to get a new laptop, or even a used one.

    Thanks for reading.

Hi. I need some help solving an issue with speakers in a 1722. I haven't used this laptop in a long time so I don't remember if it worked correctly before. The thing is that sound is not working right, i searched a lot and tried several configurations under windows 7, windows XP and Ubuntu, but the problem is the same, very low sound level, only subwofer sound, doesn't recognize 4 channel speakers... As it happens under different OS, I think it is a hardware problem, so i tried updating bios and EC with no results. If anyone could help that would be great. I don't know what else to do. Thanks in advance.

    Hi.

Did you check the cable connections on the motherboard ?
Do you have sound on the out or headphone lines ?
