    Still rocking mine daily at work. On a side note does anyone have a motherboard for the multiple 17" laptops that use this same board? I have a like new 1722 ID2 1920x12000 that just needs a motherboard.

    I still have mine. It's been good to me aside from the cracked screen bezel and a couple of dead pixels. I still love it though!

    Boards are hard to find boomer. There's still a few complete 1722 id1s floating around out there, but I don't think you want to pay $600 for a bare bone laptop just for the mobo.

    Speaking of that, anyone know if there's any extra screen bezels floating around or perhaps those little rubber bumper things that cover the screws?

    Hey guys, need a little help with the notorious DC power jack. I know tons of people have the issue, and that you should solderer it versus replace it, but I am wary of just cracking open my gx720 and rummaging till I find the DC jack. Does anyone have anything close to detail oriented instructions, maybe some pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
