It sounds like optimus is not working and your dGPU is active all the time.

Do you see an orange LED?

No... don't see an orange LED anywhere as I am looking at the laptop.

I have the same problem, two or three hours of battery. I want to test if the battery calibration option improves something, but I think it's a big difference with what I read in the reviews.

i was getting around 5.5 hours of 4k60p youtube video using Opera as my browser with the gs75 when i had it. around 4.5 hours doing some light CADing in NX. word and excel use with listening music in the background was in excess of 6 hours, but never actually got to test how long it lasted in that scenario. that kind of battery life is amazing for me, coming from a gs60 that has troubles lasting 2 hours doing nothing.

Has anyone tried laptop coolers with the GS75? I’m trying to decide between a 3 110mm fan cooler and a single 200mm fan cooler. Any suggestions/recommendations?

I think a triple fan setup would be better as the whole bottom part gets warm, not really a specific area.

It will not do anything unless you also drill the bigger holes in the bottom panel.

Has anyone else had an issue with the webcam not working. It's only stopped working withing the last 2 weeks since the last time I used it.

Looked in device manager and it's saying:

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

    Under events tab it says

    "Device USB\VID_5986&PID_211C&MI_00\6&33b27fee&0&0000 requires further installation."

No new driver updates available, no option to roll back the driver update. Any ideas?
