Is there any plans or news of releasing 17-inch version?

stupid webcam. stupid extra fat bottom screen bezel.

stupid lack of thunderbolt3, when thunderbolt3 is now royalty-free.

    stupid price, considering the shortcuts.

$300 price hike for newer rgb lights.

The bezel is there so the chassis has room for the heatsink, and mobo, and battery, its bigger, because the top one is thinner, you can't do magic and just shrink the chassis and keep it cooled, or keep the battery size something that is bigger than a cellphone..

i'm not saying they should shrink the overall size.

I'm saying that the screen lid is so big anyway, it would have been better to put the webcam back on the top, increasing the top bezel, and decreasing the lower bezel, keeping the lid size exactly the same.

it's a stupid compromise just to have a thin top bezel, only to have a way fatter bottom bezel. What's the point if you're gonna put the webcam in a stupid location.

It has G-Sync. So either it has a MUX or it doesn't have Optimus at all.

If this thing starts at $2k they are seriously taking the piss considering the GL503 started at a grand - thin bezzles and fairy lights it seems doubles the price lol

The GL503 launched with a price tag around $1,000-ish equipped with a GTX 1050 Ti. It has other variants too.
Now that that Intel i7 7th Gen CPUs are "old news", you can get the GL503 GTX 1060 version for about $1,000 now-a-days.
