Wonder how navigating with a printed map affects things.
Just 37% of US high school students are proficient in reading.
Only 27% are proficient in writing.
Evidently, New York didn't get the memo because they're about to make matters worse by eliminating literacy tests for teachers. What do they need to be able to read and write for anyway?
You need to be fluent in emoji to communicate with kids these days. I speak Engligh to them and they're all like "LOL IDK my BFF Jill? " or some nonsense. Get off my lawn.
Benzoic acid -> used in varying amounts as a preservative + Ascorbic Acid (a form of Vitamin C) when mixed can form the carcinogen benzene.
Nigerians boycott Coca-Cola drinks after court rules them 'poisonous'
Paul Adepoju and Kieron Monks, CNN Updated 8:19 AM ET, Tue March 28, 2017
"Lagos High Court rules Coca-Cola products dangerous when mixed with vitamin C
Court orders Fanta, Sprite bottles to carry health warnings and awards damages
Manufacturers argue their products comply with regulations"
The crazy thing is the variation in mg/kg are so slight it's worrying - only 50mg differences in regional dosing for effectiveness in preservatives (due to indigenous ambient temperatures), 150mg to 250mg.
So, I won't be taking my daily Vitamin C with Coke - or other benzoic acid fizzy drinks any longer, yipe.
Don't worry, I stopped drinking soft drinks long ago
Best practice IIRC is to take supplements with water only, and usually prior to a meal.
"Thousands of tiny satellites are about to go into space and possibly ruin it forever"
The earth is like the pig-pen planet of the universe.
Well that sucks. I read something a while back about different ways to clean up low orbit, but not being a physicist I'm not sure I really comprehended most of them. I think the one that sounded the most easiest was the one that said you have to de-orbit all satellites after a certain time, making smaller ones burn on re-entry and either landing the bigger ones in the ocean or having enough fuel on hand to send them out of orbit entirely.
"The ‘hotbed of anti-Semitism’ isn’t a foreign country. It’s U.S. college campuses, a new report says."
Total shocker there. Time to clean up the cesspool otherwise referred to as US "education".
Coming from the alt-right. Maybe more conservatives on campuses than we think.
Whether right or left, our education system is failing us in regard to more than just academics, evidently.
Separate names with a comma.
