Isn’t the problem with MXM cards from Zotac mini PCs that they don’t output to the internal display?

yep, but crossflashing another vendor vbios is always an option. users here used one from MSI for their Zotac 1070 cards iirc.

in comparison, the desktop RTX 5000 is 230W and the RTX 6000 is 260W
But I think that the asus RTX 6000 laptop will limit the card well below 200W

That’s what I’m thinking, I think it will pull 160-180w max, just look at the way the laptop is built, there is no way something that slim can dissipate 200W of heat. Also the power adapter is only 300w. That’s an easy telltale sign that the gpu is no more than 200W. I’m still expecting performance above or equal to the rtx 2080 ti and that 4K 120hz screen is no joke. If it’s under £5k I could be looking into it just to know if it can run every game at 4K native 60 FPS or above (it’s technically got enough gpu power for it), that would be a game changer :D

if it wasnt for that damn funky SMD layout...dammnit

very difficult to adjust my unified heatsink to that, not worth the effort...

plus, according to our resident (v)bios wizard @Prema the mobile RTX cards are completely locked down, no modding possible whatsoever. thats pretty bad at a measly 80W TGP... makes a fully modded and unlocked P5200 all the more enticing, especially at the discounted rates theyre now being sold for after Quadro RTX was released ;)
