I'm assuming they just swap the memory over from a 1080. @Khenglish was able to swap memory over from a desktop 980 to a 980M PCB so I'm assuming they could do the same thing. That being said, I've never seen a GPU-Z screenshot or bench of that "GDDR5X" P5000, probably because nobody is stupid enough to shell out $2500 for a single MXM card with no crossfire opportunity.

But to use GDDR5X you need extra circuitry of power to activate it.

Does the MXM P5000M even have it.

I would wager yes, as the desktop P5000 does in fact have GDDR5X

Do we know that for a fact? It could be just a P5000 core with cut cuda cores no?

And there it is. Eurocom caught in another lie.....

Clevo P5000, Dell P5000, and unspecified Taobao P5000 use GDDR5, but the magic Eurocom P5000 uses GDDR5X? Amazing

I was mailing with eurocom few months ago and decided they are not worth trust.
They milked me from all information I know, used it for own business and left with offer that makes nonesense. Thats the payoff!
Someone said they are greedy. I totaly agree.

They even didnt check the information they milked me from and just putted it on the website. They misunderstand me and putted the wrong information as a working solution, while I know it is not working because I checked it myself.

    Its sad.
