Zotac VR Go Backpack PC: A Stop-Gap For Tether-Free VR (Hands On)
there is a mxm gpu
The picture from Eurocom shows Clevo GTX 1070/1080 but @Eurocom Support said they are coming out with standard mxm 3.0b 1070/1080 this month, right?
Imagine if the 1070/1080 supported SLI. Or even if the RX480/580 supported LVDS and crossfireX without a bridge.
That's right! If I remember correctly eurocom mxm 3.0b gtx1070/gtx1080 are coming
Will see if the price is reasonable for a 1080 in SLI.

I noticed Eurocom already offers 1070 in the Alienware 17 upgrade configurator:
No idea if it means standard 3.0b or they are physically modding peoples chassis and heatsink? I tried to contact them about it. And the representative just told me:
"If they are listed on the upgrade configurator for your notebook then they have been fully tested and we know they work."
Eurocom seems to not be interesting in selling you anything unless they know it works for your laptop, so best to just lie to them and claim you got that laptop.
They would not even tell me the TDP of the 1070 MXM 3B card they would release because I had the wrong laptop whatever that means.
It is for sale on their website. No need to contact them to buy it. Problem is if it is mxm 3.0b. Maybe @Eurocom Support know?
would be amazing if we can get Vega 56 in MXM 3.0b form factor
if they use a compatible EC.
I think that in the future mxm will continue to exist
do you know if amd is working on an autopilot program for some car manufacturer like nvidia with tesla? because that could be a good incentive for making powerful gpu amd in mxm format IMO
tesla uses nvidia mxm cards and there are 500000 preorders for tesla model 3 + 80000 order (for year) for tesla model s+tesla model x and each one has 1 o 2 mxm nvidia cards, so 500000/1000000+80000/160000 of mxm cards for nvidia
zotac is pushing those with zbox magnus and there are many other applications for mxm cards
now asrock is lauching mini-stx mobo with mxm cards
