Window snap, highlight tool, pen tool, erase tool... So you can't add text, or a rectangular highlight - those are valid points. So fair enough, since I don't generate as many guides as you, I don't miss those tools, but the built-in program does everything I need [is that not what I said?].

That last comment was really unnecessary. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend.

Fair enough. I guess you don't need such advanced feature in a screen capture tool

My bad, I apologize. Enjoy your weekend.

Not really "windows" specific but I found draw.io pretty damn cool for creating flowcharts and diagrams, then used google chrome to "print to pdf". It's all browser based so probably works on any platform.
There is also sketch.io but I haven't tried it.

    Have you tried Dia?
It can also do the same and can export the images to tons to different formats incl. jpg, png, postscript, latex drawing and many more. The Ui is bit old though.

    http://www.radiosure.com/

1000's of stations, searchable by genre, favorites list, recording, etc.
    It's really great (imo).

(ps, if using free programs over time, support the authors by getting the paid versions)

Any recommendations for a screen recording/fps application? I have been using Fraps since I don't even know when, and it seems its not developed anymore and has not been updated in quite a while and in a lot of newer games it breaks certain things, especially the steam overlay from working which is getting pretty obnoxious having to close it before I start certain games if I want them to work correctly. Does anyone recomend anything specific that will do essentially the same things? One thing that would be nice is a feature like shadowplay has where I can record or go back like 5-10 minutes or so and if something happened I liked or wanted to save I could go back and do it without having to actually be recording my gaming all of the time and I do not want to use Gerforce Experience to get shadowplay. Any free (or even if there's something paid that's not too expensive) options that will be able to do this, plus hopefully also give me my FPS and game performance in a small overlay while I am playing?
