    Hey, any update on Mac software?
    I'd like to have some info about mac photo software, especially photo viewing and photo editing. Thanks.

    I don't have a Mac anymore, but I use Gimp to edit photos. I believe there is a version for Mac.

    Second this. GIMP is pretty much the best image creation/modification software out there that's completely free. And yes, it's cross-platform.

    well, I see, seashore is a photo editor,and I'm looking for photo viewer with basic editing functions.. anyway, thanks for the idea.

    seashore is very basic, but I really dont know any photo viewer program that lets you edit stuf

    my best advice would be iphoto + seashore

    what wrong with just using Preview? what features do you want that it doesn't do. It does rotation and crop, and some other things, and is already in OS X.

    You can use preview for that.

    well, as far as I know, iphoto sounds good. Anyone have tried Photo+ yet? It promises to the best apple photo software for viewing photos
