I have a bunch of pictures in a folder and when I double-click the picture, it opens in Preview. But if I hit the right arrow, it won't go to the next picture in the folder....do you have the same problems?

Highlight the group of pictures you want, right click, open with Preview, and the arrow keys will function as expected.

I never knew that! thats a relief, always found to be way too clunky, now that win 8 you actually need to import the photos to view properly...

it's my first time to hear about Seashore today. By saying photo viewer that support image editing I mean do the basic editng such as crop, rotate, zoom and delete. Do you have any ideas?

I never got that whole select-all-pictures-first in Preview. It is dumb. Does anyone know the developers' point of view? I have ultra great performance with IrfanView and if I need indexed thumbnails I take FastStone Viewer. Both free and full of features.
I don't like the Mac OS GUI. That's why I'll never see myself using Mac OS. That's also why I don't like the path win7 and win8 have taken.

Probably. Though with a whole bunch of free stuff on today's OSes (Windows and Linux included), there's not much reason for piracy other than "I **really** want the CS^ Master's Collection (or other expensive suite) without paying!"

Maybe FCP and CS6 are the prime candidates for OSX piracy, I would guess.
