    imo both adaware and sbybot stink.. would never use nor recc them.. also imo avira hands down best free..

    From what I can tell avira doesn't protect against spyware and adware. Do you use anything for that?

    Yeah, Online Armor is the best I've seen so far.

    I suspect your settings are to blame (maybe partly some of your OS settings). I found Online Armor really easy to configure for total stealth. Much more so than ZA, Outpost, Comodo, etc.

    Yeah, it was my fault. The bit-torrent was to blame since I keep a port open for it. At least that's what I think since it fails the port scan test.
