Has anyone heard of this orginization? Its becoming sort of big around here (a little disturbing) and from what I can gather it is a pyramid scheme designed to make a few rich with the rest of the saps signing up grasping at dreams of financial independence while their pocketbooks are raked clean. Do you guys have any takes on this?

It's AMWAY brought into the 20th Century. They go by many names - I've seen TOD, Primerica, and Quixtar - and will fight tooth and nail to keep you from associating them with AMWAY, but the system is the same and owned by the same company, just updated to utilize the web.
It's called Multi-Level Marketing, and is just shy of the wrong side of legality.
Baaaaad news to get mixed up with these kinds of people.

I think that everyone of you that are about to talk slander about TOD and Quixtar needs to think twice. It is a great each are great organizations that allow people who have dreams to obtain those dreams. To down talk these people and their actions is just plain wrong! you all should do a little more indepth research, just a suggestion.

I checked out that Team of Destiny site out of curiosity and have a sneeking suspicion it is associated with Alticor B/K/A AMWAY:

    1. Heavy use of the term IBO - seems to be on all Alticor sites
    2. Similar setup, can't get into the site without an IBO number
    3. BBB logo on page - common, but it seems all Alticor sites claim to be associated with the BBB.
    4. Can't view any information without IBO

When you go to most of the other Alticor affiliated sites, all of the pages seem very generic in their setup. The only reason i found out about Quixtar was by clinking on a 'unprotected' link. That brought me to a piece of the site where it stated that it was owned by Alticor and the AMWAY subsidary. If it sounds too good to be true...

Yeah, they are all pyramid schemes where the people at the top running it make the money and everyone else gets screwed.
