I was looking at the Surface Go as a potential quality-feeling-but-inexpensive ultraportable for word processing--something small and discrete to take with me to meetings, that can handle multiple Word documents at the same time (which can't be done with iOS, Android, or ChromeOS).

But then I noticed the Spin 11 at Best Buy for $330, two-thirds the price of a base-model Surface Go plus keyboard cover. It has the same (low-end) internals. It also offers a better than you expect for the price screen; the Surface Go may have a 3:2 aspect ratio and all that, but this still has a very commendable 11.6" 1080p IPS touch display (same specs as my old VAIO Duo 11, which sold for $1200). It offers better port selection, which is an upside for me. And it's more lappable than the Surface setup, which is another benefit.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with one, good or bad? This is the model I'm considering:

Mmc is a non starter. The 11 3000 is much better

The 11 3000 has a 1366x768 screen instead of 1920x1080. I stare at small text all the time on it and I'm not too excited about a low res screen. I wish more options in the sub-$500 range had higher res screens like the Acer Spin 1 and Surface Go.

Yeah. I don’t find it bad. Can you get the switch with a real HD?
