It might sound stupid, but did you log off and log back on after the change? I had the same issue and apparently it takes a logoff for windows to display everything properly in 100% scaling. Try that if you already havent.

Yes I did log off, but as I said the 100% is just too small, I have a difficult time reading stuff, the 125% on Win 8 worked pretty good, but if I put it on 125% on Win 8.1 some applications get blurry

I plan to purchase a T440s version with the Nvidia 730 GT. Unfortunately you can't buy that version with touch functionality.

Do you think that I could buy the display afterwards (after the purchase) and replace it with a touch panel?
I looked up the service & party section from lenovo .. they only state if you have a problem with your display, contact us.

I plan to do so, because many people say that the bezel loves to seperate from the display (it's only glued). Besides I like the look of the touch panel better, even when I won't use the touch functionality.

    What do you think?

What country are you in? If USA, you can't buy the Nvidia version at all. If Europe you can get it with both the touchscreen and the Nvidia card.

I live in Europe, but I want to purchase it at a student price.

This is the retailer I plan to buy it from.

    Kind regards

Has anyone gotten the 5% credited back to them yet?

My near fully spec'd model arrived! Got who got the AUO :D Mine is a touch model, maybe that affects what display you get? No bleed and no spotlight, just a great display!

    Hey!

I finally got my own T440s, and everything seems to work like a charm... except, I can't seem to get the internal battery to work. It is recognized on Windows 8.1, but seems to have 0% charge. Also trying to hot-swap the external battery powers the laptop off, which isn't actually what I was looking for.

Has anyone else had problems similar to this recently? Do I need to install some specific drivers in order for it to charge?

    Thanks!

Check the bios to make sure it hasn't been disabled there. I'm not sure of the exact specifics, but I know there is a place in the bios where you can disable the internal battery when you need to repair the laptop.
