Swollen battery

    I just noticed that the battery in my laptop is swollen. It seems like it's about 1 mm thicker or so, and it works as usual.

    My guess is that I should replace it, but I still want to ask here. I don't want it to break my laptop though, obviously.

    Yes replace it as soon as possible. Dont charge it nor use it anymore before you have a disaster on your hands.

    Swollen batteries normally means that your battery reach the end of its life, it could happen because of a manufacturer defect
