    I wonder how much the existing ones generate in the first place. Has to be a lot more per area than on earth since there's no atmospheric scattering.

    Overcast and Cloudy here too, people milling around the outside of the Library waiting for a break in the clouds... walked right through it all and went inside, and people were watching it on the internet ;)

    We ended up watching it from a hotel parking lot because the shuttle out to the main event was stuck in traffic for an hour. Was kind of cool though, at totality, the clouds just kind of burned mostly off enough to see the corona, and then moved back in after it was done. So the good part was visible, but I think the whole thing would have been nice to see. Think we're going to try to arrange to be in Dallas for the next US one at least.

    As destructive as they are on the ground, they have to be amazing from space. Sad I can't see something like that in person.
