It was quite a surprise to see this trailer revealed at Gamescom this morning, a cinematic trailer for Kerbal Space Program 2, developed by a new developer and showcasing propulsion technology far beyond that in the original game.
The trailer paid homage to the classic 'Build Fly Dream' trailer

It took a few tries, but the Starhopper testbed finally came through:

Thoughts about the process and how Starhopper was eventually successful:

SpaceX Starhopper Launches - 150 Meter Flight Test is Successful

This afternoon and after a bunch of delays and a failed attempt at the launch yesterday due to an issue with the igniters SpaceX Starhopper Launches and took to the skies with its second and final untethered flight for this test vessel. The target flight for this was 150 meters in altitude which was revised down from 200 meters before today's flight. The reason for this seems to be due to regulatory approvals being more difficult above the 150 meter mark but that is possibly a little bit of speculation at this point. The starhopper itself is roughly 20 meters in height so we were expecting the view of the Starhopper hovering up around seven to eight times its own height before slowly coming back to gently touch down. From these shots it does certainly look like the target altitude there was reached successfully. The 150 Meter Flight Test is Successful! Here is my take on this amazing achievement. Congratulations SpaceX!

The Indian Space Research Organisation has lost contact with the Chandrayaan-2 lander minutes before it was to land on the Moon. Isro is analysing data from the Vikram lander's descent and is hoping to make contact with the spacecraft. India's second mission to the Moon, Chandrayaan-2 was attempting to land near the south pole of the Moon. Chandrayaan-2's lander Vikram houses the six-wheeled rover Pragyaan that was to explore the lunar surface for around 14 Earth days. The Chandrayaan-2 mission also consists of an orbiter that will revolve around the Moon for around a year. Updates on the Chandrayaan-2 landing are coming in from the Indian Space Research Organisation's headquarters in Bengaluru. Stay tuned with India Today as we bring you the latest from the Chandrayaan-2 landing.

Great news, the orbiter has found the lander about 500m from the choosen landing site, and attempts are happening right now to re-establish communication with the Vikram lander.

It has been a long time since I've seen an update that changes the situation, and still no confirmation of the fate of Vikram lander, these articles cover the current state, with the second article mentioning that the Vikram lander wasn't supposed to survive / function more than 14 days as the electronics weren't designed to function at -200c which would be seen after the long night cycle began:

These NASA images indicate where India’s Vikram lander may have landed
The US space agency NASA has put out detailed images showcasing the lunar craters where Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander might have landed. Another attempt to locate Vikram will be made on October 14.

"The US space agency NASA has put out detailed images showcasing the lunar craters where Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram lander might have landed. The images were shared last week on Friday and taken from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), which passed over the landing site on September 17 and took a set of high resolution images of the area. These images hold clues as to where India’s lander might on the lunar surface.

This NASA image shows the area where Vikram lander from Chandrayaan-2 attempted its landing and might be lying on the Moon’s surface. (Image source: NASA / Goddard / Arizona State University)

The NASA website also added that so far LROC team has not been able to locate or image the lander. Further, the images were taken when it was dusk at the landing area and there are large shadows covering most of the terrains. According to NASA’s statement, it is possible that the Vikram lander is hiding in a shadow.

The next attempt to find the lander will take place in October, when according to NASA, the lighting will be more favourable. The LRO will pass over this site once again on October 14 to be precise. The site where NASA’s LRO looked for Vikram lander was about 600 kilometres from the south pole of the Moon, and in a relatively ancient terrain,” according to NASA."

NASA craft circling Moon unable to spot Vikram lander, will check again on Oct 14
"NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), which is circling the Moon since 2009, will fly over that location again on October 14 and make another attempt to find Vikram."
    https://indianexpress.com/article/t...am-lander-will-check-again-on-oct-14-6035243/

"...The instruments on Vikram, and the embedded rover, Pragyaan, were designed to function only for 14 days after the scheduled touchdown on September 7. After that, a lunar night, equivalent of 14 days on Earth, descended on the Moon, during which temperatures dip to as low as minus 200 degrees Celsius in the area where Vikram is supposed to have landed. Electronics on the instruments were not designed to withstand such low temperatures."
