This is not game related but is graphics related or so I believe.
My laptop specs is in my sig.

I'm attaching an example of what I get from time to time in having sharp and fuzzy graphics at the same time.
I checked them on my other computers and its not like this.

Note how the chart text and graph is not as clear as the upper portion. And I see the "Forward 2 Days" button is fuzzy also with clear text at the same level?

Is there something I can do?

This looks more like a Windows scaling issue, what factor is currently set on you notebook ? Both buttons use a custom background image (unlike the "submit" button), which is probably not made for the dpi setting of your display. That's why things get blurry.

Thanks! I tried many combos of resolutions and zooms with little satisfaction and seeing this laptop comes @1920 x 1080 scaled to 125%, and the word scaling sticking in my mind. 125% being an uneven number I set it to 128 and bingo a noticeable improvement. Not 100% but I can live with it. I tried 124% and lower but the 128% looked better to me.

Run at native resolution and 100% scaling.

Welcome to the beauty of LCD displays and the wonderful world of Windows scaling.

And this is pretty much why I don't really advise more than say 1080p on a 15" laptop. There are still some issues to iron out regarding windows and higher resolutions.

I'm of the same belief. That being said, it would be great to have 2560x1440. No reason not to these days.

Oh but of course. 1080p on a 15" laptop was just a ballpark for what is usable at 100% for most people. If you can comfortably use 1440p on your 15" screen then I say go for it. Likewise if you need a 17" screen to comfortably use windows at 1440p then that's fine too.
