Up for sale is a Razer Blade 14 (2016) with a bad CPU fan controller. The CPU fan always runs at 100% unless you physically unplug the fan from the motherboard. I have tried all manner of fixes to try to resolve the issue but nothing works, so if you think you can get it working, this is a great deal. Otherwise, it's in great condition with only a couple nicks on the bottom case and a couple screws that have been replaced; and includes the original packaging and accessories.

You have the bios updates from Razer correct? I had this exact model and when I first got it the fans were runnong high. After they released a bios update it ran very quiet.

Good luck selling it. I'm missing mine actually.

Sounds like EC corruption happened on bios update.

I've had my Blade 14 for a while now and I know what it should sound like on idle and I know what it should sound like on full load. I can't ever remember hearing the fans ramp up to 100% even while gaming, let alone idle.

possible its overheating, thermal paste gone bad. I own your same model, thermals were always trash. I strongly suggest you check your temps.

I appreciate the help, but already been there done that. Temps are fine; it even runs fine with the CPU fan unplugged as long as I'm not stressing it out under load.

Is it only the CPU fan or does the GPU fan also constantly run at full speed?

Does the GPU fan still work normally and respond accordingly to GPU temp increase?

Yes, the GPU fan still responds properly.
