    forgive the noob question, QS stand for what? I'm looking for a clevo.

    Usually it stands for qualification sample, meaning its not the final version of that card. Somewhere between ES and the final retail version.

    That board looks almost identical to my 7970m which is a clevo version.

    not sure if there are any differences between the clevo and the dell this time around. however this card is a dell.

    Would the 7970m QS dell version work on my M17xR2 without much hassle? Or is it just the clevos that do?

    I don't know if the clevo's 7970s work right on the m17x r2's. I know that was the case for the 6990s but not sure about it now.

    Are any of the 6970 or 6990 clevos?

    The clevos indeed do work but the question is do these Dells. Unfortunately I don't think they do or else I'd grab them from you :(
