Not willing to remove any components or sell in parts. It's either the full package or I won't sell it.

I just sold one 2TB 960 Pro privately so the system has two 960 PROs now and thus the price has been reduced by 1000 USD.

If I sell another 2TB 960 Pro I'll reduce the price even further

If anyone is interested, I can remove the 2nd 2TB 960 Pro and sell it later on privately so thus you can get a further 1000 USD reduction on the price

    price dropped to $4999

Why were you gonna go to Mac? Glad you went Area-51M instead.

How are the CPU/GPU temps under load?

Because I'm sick of Windows and constantly having to deal with its shenanigans but when I went to the Apple Store yesterday, they didn't have any MacBook Pro with he Vega Graphics only the crappy Radeon ones which I was advised on MacRumo forums to stay away from. The sales rep told me I have to custom order one from their site. that and the issues like audio stuttering made me kind of not so enthusiastic anymore.

Just updated the specs, the RAM which I thought is 2400 MHz. turned out to be 2666 MHz. RAM after I old 2 sticks. It seems that if you have 64B they run at 2400 MHz but after selling the 2 sticks, they are now running at 2666 MHz. by default, didn't touch any setting in the BIOS:

I tried to PM but unsuccessful, below was my message

    Dear Phoenix,

I am very sorry, 8500 AED will be out of my budget. I can spend maximum 5000-5500 AED on my new toy (either high end lappy or RTX desktop). Unless i can sell out this MSI GT62VR. For 5500, even you remove all its RAM, SSD, HDD it won’t be that price.
I have my own collection of 3200mhz hyperX rams n 1TB 970 evo. Hehe

Best of luck for your sale and glad to find someone living in the same country.

There is no perfect solution. Sounds cliche. But, I would recommend making a pro/con list with each item having a weight representative of its importance. Windows OS has reached new lows of pathetic. But, that is the monopoly MS enjoys. Not much development going on with Mac OS since most of Apple's attention is on the phone/tablet market, and soon to come, the services sector.

Portability, battery-life and the ability to carry you through your day's needs may trump power and convenience of crunching everything you put into your current system. But, be mindful that when you are home, and no longer need to worry about portability or battery-life, you could be stuck with an otherwise unnecessarily conservative form-factor with limited capability.

My preference would be a small but capable form-factor for the road, and a robust desktop for home. Trouble is I can't afford to do both at the same time. Hence, the pro/con list.
