I have for sale my lightly used HP dv7t-6c00 CTO Quad Edition Laptop that I purchased in April. It's in great like new/mint condition and includes upgrades. Specs are listed above.

I will also include a DVD copy of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium so you can install the OS from scratch and free of HP's bloatware.

The unit will come without the OS installed so you will have to set it up yourself when you get it. I'm selling it this way so you can configure it to your preference.

I will also include a lightly used Logitech M705 Marathon Wireless Laser Mouse.

The mouse and laptop will come in it's original packaging and boxes.

I paid over $1300 for everything here at the time but I'm letting everything go for $700 Shipped anywhere in the US.

I only accept Paypal as payment since it's the most secure and efficient way to pay.

I will ship the Laptop within 2-3 days of payment so you will receive it before Christmas.

I have 100% positive feedback at Heatware.com under my screen name BXURBANCELEB.

Thank you for viewing my sale and if you're interested feel free to inbox me your offers.
    :)

    Two questions:

    1) Does the computer operate the SSD at SATA II or SATA III? Ever benchmarked it's read/write times?
    2) Is the screen IPS?

    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.

    1) The 256GB Samsung 830 series SSD is connected via SATA III

    2) No this is not an IPS screen but it does have some pretty wide viewing angles for a matte LED-LCD TN Panel. Color saturation is good as well as contrast.
Details from the HP Maintenance Manual: 17.3", full high-definition (FHD), light-emitting diode (LED), WVA AntiGlare (1920x1080) display; typical brightness: 300 nits

I hope this helps with your decision!

Yes, it does, thanks. For my purposes I could do with a lesser gpu and an en even better screen...Still, killer machine @great price. I will get back to you if I can justify a fifth laptop - or sell one of mine.

do you know how high the temp gets under full load, assuming room temperature?

and which side does the heat vent out at if you don't mind

Why do you barely use this laptop?

The GPU maxes out at around 75 degrees Celsius and the CPU Maxes around 80- 85 degrees Celsius under heavy load, room temps. The heat vents out the top left hand side. I hope this helps.

Because I just really don't. It was an impulse buy when I first purchased it and since then I barely used it in 6 months. I took it to work a few times and used it as a backup when I was repairing my desktop and that's about it. The total cost netted me around $1300 including the Samsung SSD I purchased for it. My loss is your gain.
