It's pretty much in line with 3740QM scores. Plus I've only got standard CL11 1600mhz ram, the 3940XM's scoring up near 10000 physics are 4.3ghz+ and have 2133mhz (running at godknowswhat OC) according to Systeminfo

The edp panel+cable are the last I'm spending on this exercise. An XM and fast DDR3 is not something I'll be spending on. It's just a holdover until I can rebuild my P870DM

the guy I sent my mobo to has changed his mind after sitting on it for a month and now it's not repairable (@*&%&@*)*)@ what a waste of time.

Anyway GTA5 fiiiiiiiinally finished downloading so I'll see what it can do in a real game.

you can get 60fps easy. I can get 1080p60 with just 1 1070.

Everything I did is in the first few posts

If you have a 3D display already you will be able to skip some of the steps

We just finalized testing of single GTX 1060 in P370EM3 - over 100FPS in Heaven 4. Only small heatsink mod is needed. EM3 is eDP model with 120Hz panel.

I see it's an available upgrade kit for the p370em on the site. Is that for reals? Will it likely extend to gtx 1070's? Is it weird that I obsess over keeping the same laptop from 2012 for as many years as I can and constantly upgrading it? So many questions...

I'm open to that. I'm a Jeweller after all...eurocom's upgrade pages for the p370em suggest 1070 upgrade is possible with only additional modded drivers, but currently they only have 1060 upgrade kit for sale...

Yes it is real - you just need to have eDP LCD panel in your P370EM model ie 120Hz panel. We will also offer GTX 1070 and 1080 standard MXM 3.0b cards that wil fit into P370EM model. We already offer gtx 1060 for P570WM model.
