Size comparison between X220 and X61s

    Very cool. I like the X61s' thin bezel + square screen. So what do you use the X61s for now that you have a new laptop?

    i believe the x61s has a 8 cell. the x220 has a 9 cell.

    formatted it and gave it to my mom :D

    it has a samsung 64gb ssd with a hacked bios to enable full sata 2 support.

    Kinda sad to see how ThinkPads went widescreen...but you get IPS!

    IPS + low resolution, or higher resolution but crappy TN panel.

    I have the x61 not S but none the less I would differently not call the panel on my x61 crappy. I also have a X300 and a x220. Out of all of them the x300 wins. I think all the ing about the low rez on the x220 was or is over rated. Anything higher it would make the font size very small. Now if they had made the x220 screen a 16/10 would have been the best of both worlds. Also looking at my x220 and my x61 shows there's was no reason to switch to the 7mm drive. There was plenty of room for a reg HD.

    I suspect the first photo has some perspective distortion. It would have been better to put them side by side rather than one on top (further from the camera, making it appear smaller) and the other below.
