    Wow. I remember SalineOS well... I need to catch up. Ive been using Scientific Linux forever, a RHEL spin.. May try MX linux. Good to see you.

    This is one reason I try to stick with a "big name" distro. (Redhat/Fedora/ Ubuntu/ OpenSuSe/ Arch/etc). More likely to still be here in 12 years. :)

    Just did a fresh install of the latest POP_OS with Cinnamon (since I don't care for default desktop environment).

    CPU performance still lags behind Windows a bit, even with Intel mitigations off. Maybe because this is running under Wine (no Linux version available).
