I own a CF-28STJGZKM and the battery went dead. Like fully dead. So should I rebuild this battery, buy a new one, or just leave the battery out of it. If I should rebuild how should I?

Not sure if the 28 battery has a chip in it or not. If it does the chip will need to be reset and no I don't know how to do it. I tried to rebuild my M34 battery and almost burnt my house down. Yes I am serious and the battery was not even in the laptop. I was in my house and smelt smoke and went to the shop and the battery was like really hot so I grabbed it and threw it over my deck into the snow. As you can guess there wasn't much left of the battery so I couldn't really tell what happened. I was just lucky that I was home. To save fifty bucks it almost cost me three hundred grand+. Never do it again.

I have rebuild 1 battery. Well technically 2 but one decided to work but then became hot and I fixed that but that’s a Dell D610 battery. But another Worked but please don’t rebuild a 701C battery. It worked with AA battery’s but still dint

Not worth trying for the reasons stated, you might burn your place down.:D

In my computer business a lady brought by a new kindle all swelled up, my partner and I told her to take photos and send them to Amazon.

Now the important part, put the kindle in a metal bucket outside away from the house, she did,Amazon sent here a shipping box with hazmat label and gave her a new top of the line Kindle about 4x what hers cost. Happy camper.
