Looks hella sweet.. Though I wonder what the hippie eco-crazed people will think of it when I park it at a California Walmart.

    Me: "It's green! I swear!" :D

Then again, if any of you've watched James May's review of the Honda Clarity in the latest season of Top Gear (forgot which episode), he makes a great point about electric plug-in cars compared to hydrogen fuel cell cars. It was a brilliant clip as well. Cinematography was beautiful.

He made a point that the benefit of the H car is that you stop at a station, fuel up, then go off. It takes no longer to fill the 'tank' compared to a petrol car now.

It won't be same if it takes time to charge. Sure, this car takes 10 minutes to charge, but what about more conventional ones? 8hours? I sure don't want to drive half-way, need to fill up for 8 hours, then proceed again.

It just doesn't fit our current lifestyle. And the batteries suffer the same problem as our laptop batteries, and that's deterioration. Over time the batteries have to be replaced. And that's going cost $$$. A lot of $$$.

If its charging that fast and running that far then I'm wondering what batteries its using. A year or more ago I heard about the super capacitor, which acts just like a battery but is made like a capacitor, so it wont really wear out, can charge fast, and is light weight.

I've heard of it too. Just hope that mass production pulls its cost down, or else we'll be going H cars for sure

If this battle is anything like the VHS v. Beta one, we'll just wait to see what the adult entertainment industry uses, then that'll be the winner

Wasn't that how the HD DVD v. Blu-ray battle was supposed to be decided :p

Seriously nice car though I wonder how far it can go at fast speeds though. May be nice to take form Phoenix to San Diego.
