I fix it for you.... Oh, it gets worse
A few days later, on July 5, the data silo was separately discovered by Noam Rotem's team at VPNmentor, and it became clear the security blunder went well beyond UFO. It appears seven Hong-Kong-based Chinese-based VPN providers – UFO VPN, FAST VPN, Free VPN, Super VPN, Flash VPN, Secure VPN, and Rabbit VPN – all share a common entity, which provides a white-labelled VPN service.

Nothing is 100% foolproof and secure nowadays. If you trust them, it's you that being fooled by yourself.

"UFO also claimed its logs were kept for traffic-performance monitoring only, and were anonymized even though some of the log entries seemingly contained people's IP addresses, and account tokens and secrets. So that's going from "no logs" to "OK, some logs," we note."

""The vast majority of companies that operate these services use patently false marketing, have very murky corporate provenance, and in some cases are literally run by convicted financial crime felons"

Wondering who will be the most beneficial of these leaks and those leaked logs?! I think we all already know :)

From a long time I believe that these VPN companies are owned by a governmental entities, spaying on people in their country and others around the world. And to cover their ass they just announce the hacking covering story, so they appears to be a victim, and our logs leaked because of those M*F* hackers. Not only that, they give our logs to our own countries, so they can spy on us in a dirty information swap.

Just a thought. So don't trust anyone, they are all the same.

Hackers to the rescue! UFO VPN user log database leaks online for a second time betanews.com | Today
    [IMG]
Just a week ago, we covered the news that user log files from the VPN service UFO VPN had been exposed. A database of user data appeared online despite the company's claims of having a "strict no-logs policy".

But while security experts took steps to lock down the data and restrict access to it by the middle of this month, earlier this week it transpired that a second, newer UFO VPN database had appeared online, containing even more data. This time, however, hackers came to the rescue with a coordinated "Meow" attack....

While many exposed databases have now been destroyed, it is still advisable for UFO VPN users to change passwords (if they have not done so already). For the second time?:D

China absolutely cannot be trusted. Their government is evil to the core. It is unfortunate for the oppressed people of China. They deserve better. Same is true for North Korea.

Evil governments are 2 kinds, one is clear Evil like the examples you said, and the other is an Evil hiding in the shadows, but sooner or later it will be exposed.

I haven't identified a government yet that I totally approve of. Some are clearly worse than others. The lowest common denominators are the politicians

Leaking user logs IS INTENDED. VPN will never be save. It's in its nature. Governments around the world will always be sure they can grab what ever they need/want. All is equal and neither better or worse. Your data/privacy don't belong to you. Have never did. It belongs to the governments where you live. They can talk so nice about "it's your life", but in reality they all are liars.

Totally agree with you, and when I say "governments" I meant politicians, not the people's of this countries.
