I want to put a sim card into my cf19 to see what happens. But the cover on the back is held on with some kind of tamper proof screw. At first glance it looked like a torx but upon closer inspection it seems to be something else. Anyone know what the bit type is?

Looks to me like a hex or iPhone screw. Maybe. Idk.

Actually I think that amazon has a large tool kit. Although maybe you don’t need a pentalobe

Oh I forgot to confirm the size here.

Yeah it was a security torx T7.

When I opened it there was already a sim card included from the seller. It's a UK sim but it still gets some kind of signal I think. Can't connect to it though. But even if I put in a local sim, how do i get it to work? Is there some kind of software to manage it?

Is your sim a CDMA or GSM? What’s your toughbook too?

    CF-19.

GSM was the old one right? The sim in there is new. Anyway I was just going to try take the one out of my phone and put it in. But I need to get a big sim blank to hold it. Mine is a mini sim or whatever.
