it is great, setting everything up now.

the Mike Ming Seaweed lid is beautiful. no buyers remorse here, worth the extra dough, imo. stunning.

the 17'' 1920x1200 is great (glad i got the 9 cell). some flex in center the keyboard as others had noted. interesting thing i did notice, is that there is no "topo" design on the palm rests, just graphite. some will like that it is gone, but i liked it, and thought it was included.

This one also looks good. It looks like you got a custom wallpaper for it too. Thanks for the pictures.

it does stick out. in a great way.

thanks! and yes, carrying around artwork. the Ming watercolor painting really comes out in person. much better than on Dell's site.

this first wallpaper was one of several dell lets you choose to start out. i now have a beach scene that really takes advantage of my 1920x1200.

you're more than welcome for the pics. my pleasure! so happy w/purchase.

still trying to figure out the fingerprint reader.

Wow, I really like it. I ordered a Sea Weed 15, so I was hoping it looks as good as on the site. Are there pictures of the other Mike Ming covers? You never know how edited the Dell ones are.

the only one i have seen is the sea sky that was posted around the same time as my seaweed

    HERE

the sea sky is nice, but i decided it was a little too much to bring to the office. the seaweed is great.

    bohman,

How long did they take to deliver your seaweed studio 17. (What date did you order on and when did it actually turn up?

Also did you encounter any delays/changes of delivery date?

    Thanks.
