Below are the examples of the screen flickering issue:

My laptop has two display drivers: Intel HD Graphics 630 and Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060. When I plug my laptop into another screen, the 1060 is activated and I notice no flickering options. This makes me think the problem is related to the Intel Graphics adapter. Even more so when I use Nvidia Control Panel and tell it to use the 1060 on FireFox(which sometimes cause the issue).

I have downloaded the latest driver from December 2018 and still have this problem. What are my options? I'm on Windows 10 just to note.

Did you try adjusting the screen hinge and see if it fixes the issue. If it doesn't, use DDU to remove intel driver and install latest one.

How would I go about adjusting the screen hinge?

Just nudge the screen from behind a gentle tap. Or you can adjust the screen with lower angles to see if it fixes flickering.
    75% I think its a driver issue and 25% a hardware issue.

Okay I tried adjusting and uninstall and installing new Intel drivers. So far everything seems good aside from one instance of a quick flash so I guess for now I"m good.

Great. So it was a driver issue?

I have this issue too sometimes and someone else had a detailed thread. Not sure if it's the same but it could be the display cable. Whenever I readjust the cable, the issue goes away... for a while.

If you want to secure a cable use kapton or electrical tape over it to help.
