Why do you use Magician SW anyway? I felt it was pointless to install since it does work only with AHCI driver only!

What's wrong with the AHCI driver?

Only useful for firmware updates. Or check if there is a new firmware. You know you can uncheck it from load up with windows? None say you have to run it (or have it installed) on daily basis:D

In the past it was good for the gimmicky Samsung RAPID feature. Now it's just useless and sends telemetry data.

Sorry for the big bump, just installed my new 860 EVO, do you guys still not suggest to keep this software running all the time? Personally i'd b fine with running it once in a while to check firmware updates and over provisioning, don't really need anything else but i'd like to hear from you.

I've been running it, no issues to report.
