    Hi Guys,

I wanted to start a thread here about the battery life that everyone gets on the NP5125...I'm using the 62.16 Wh battery, with Windows 7 64 bit, and the other specs are in my sig.

I tried running from full battery to auto-shutdown. I was running Google Chrome (running some JavaScript stuff), iTunes (music), and a chat program, and Norton Security Suite (not sure how much power it would take up) and I got 193 minutes of battery life.

Can you other NP5125 owners post the battery lives you're getting, regardless of your specs, OS's, and power settings? It'd be nice to see what other people are getting, and I know it might help some people make a decision on whether this is the right laptop for them (to you potential buyers, it's pretty damn awesome.)

    Thanks in advance guys.

P.S. Kinda new to this, if my methodology is wrong, or if I've posted in the wrong forum, feel free to correct me :D.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the power settings I had in Windows 7 had everything possible on Max Power Savings, lowest screen brightness, and my Min - Max for processor usage was 1%-25%.

I only get 163 minutes even though I have lower specs than you, and mine seems to be a problem unit who's fan is always running pretty loudly despite low temps.

On average, most of our customers have been reporting about the 2 1/2 - 3 hour battery life on that machine. It all depends what you're doing with it of course.

    3-4 hours on mines with:
    15.6" (1366x768)
    -Windows 7 HP 64-bit
    -Intel Core i5 2.4 Ghz
-Nvidia GeForce 330GT 1GB + Intel HD w/ Nividia Optimus
    -6GB DDR3 ram
    -Intel 80GB SSD
    -Intel Wireless N 6300
    - 62.16 Wh battery

4 hours with boot on with power savor and wireless already turned off.
I have change all the advanced power settings for power savor. I set the minimum CPU usage to 1% and maximum to 3%.
I have screen brightness to 10-20% or just enough I can see the text on the screen.

As for the fan speed, sometime it's pulsing between spinning and not spinning. This is quite normal unless it's running 100% when you are just doing something basic like Microsoft Word, then it's not normal.
