    Here is a list of the problems;
    1= will only start cold, warm starts will start then cut out 1 sec later, retrying it after that makes it just turn over but not catch. - maybe low battery, oil was boiling after running for 4 mins however, fan does not work.
    2= Regular misfire in one cylinder, irregular misfire across them all. - Fuel pump issue on the irregular, plug gone on the regular?
    3= oil temperature shows about 1/3 up the scale when oil is clearly creating some sort of smoke/steam. - water in the oil?
    4= engine will stall in a horrible unhealthy sounding heap of clattering under about 1.5k RPM, however redline has ceased to exist and it appears to climb up to about 8k RPM when the limit is supposedly 6.5k. engine seems to like to idle at 2.8k RPM, car will not start on a slope but it will drive up one fine. - god knows.
    5= Comes with 4 keys? one for doors, one for boot, one for fuel cap and one for ignition. WHY?

    any suggestions?

    It is a 1983 SAAB 900 TURBO, 2.0 8V
    looks like this but 5 door (very rare)

    Yeah, saab central is great, but honestly I've give up now. Sounds like its got a lot of issues coming from alot of different directions. So unless your really dead set on making it work, and spending some good coin doing so(unless you got a great junkyard around).

    Fuel Chip thingy...
    fixed the regular, replace all the plugs, also the injectors are a bit blocked.
    water in the oil ;)
    Fuel pump is broken! huzzah!
    turns out one of the keys operates all of them, and there are 3 keys that do the things seperately!

    So is she up and running now? My bro had an old 89( or maybe a 90) before we got the 9000's and it was pretty peppy, although I like the look and speed of the 9000's a bit more. ;)
