MSI for sure, without a second of hesitation, moreover if they have the same price.
Nitro+ is really garbage custom card, compared to msi and powercolor red devil.

And why do you say that? Where is your proof? As far as I'm aware the Sapphire Nitro cards are really good!

My apologizes the original post was made thinking you were comparing the saphire & the giabite cards

How I would look at what card to get
    1. which one matches you build the best/you prefer the look of, waterblock compatablity (custom PCB)
    2. clock speeds - as you can OC the card your self
    3. warranty - I normally end up voiding these these pretty quickly
personally I'm a big fan of the look of the nitro+ but I would expect the gigabite G1 gaming to OC better, the MSI card I'm not to sure on

    few reviews of the nitro+ ( also i believe the nitro+ has a switchable bios :D )

cant find any reviews of the Giabite G1 Gaming yet

cant find any reviews of the MSi Gaming X yet

just for the sake of it
asus strix review (included with the cross fire review, I know these cards are much more expensive also asus likes to lock core voltage)

will update post if/when i find more reviews

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    slightly off topic but

I would advise against getting a strix card

why i don't recommend AMD Strix (haven't seen enough reviews to see if this applies to the RX 480 as well but still)

    http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/gpu_displays/amd_rx470_-_asus_strix_and_sapphire_nitro_review/21
(this review is done using a new driver than his RX480 tests)
why i don't recommend nVidia strix

    http://www.overclock.net/t/1574529/strix-980-ti-voltage/10#post_24530453

(I own a pair of these 980ti's & I'm really not happy about this if you couldn't guess :p a stock 680m bios has more voltage control)

@WaffleBoy sorry I'd mistake which cards you were comparing thought it was the Gigabite card not the MSI one updated my post to reflect that

    Thanks!
For now I made a pre-order for the MSI gaming X which is the most quiet one with the lowest temps. Still w8ing for the g1, but no word of it.
