So maybe I will find here someone.

I have a RTX2070 MaxQ refresh (2020 release) this card has a TDP up to 115W but in most laptops it’s limited mostly to 90W.

Here is the question. can anyone give me a vbios dump of his 2070 MaxQ refresh with a TDP of 115W (not the older from 2019, it has to be the refresh).

    Thanks in advance.

    max-q not have 115w

send here DEVICE ID for more info

Yes I know now. I can’t flash mine up to 115W. However I’m at 105W at the moment. I would need a hardware programmer to rise the TDP since the 2070 "MaxQ" is just a lower clocked 2080 mobile.

maxQ is most time less parts/quality "more TDP" is dangerous
,.,.next is PSU / EC setup for new TDP ,..,,only more power problems !

Razer itself runs their 2070 maxQ up to 100W. You hopefully know that a maxQ is just a lower clocked 2070 mobile.

at least check MEMORY CLOCK ,..,when use custom vbios
most maxQ die fast for higher setup

maxq -- is lowest configuration "low TDP / CLOCK / **** components or less components"
unlock above original limit - possitible HWdefect

Memory oc is fine. I mean I don’t change the voltage, just clocks. And I’m not a newbie in terms of overclocking.

at the moment I’m using a 105w 2070 maxq refresh vbios. And I think that’s the limit, since there is no vbios for a maxq with 115W the only way would be to use a Hardware programmer. But I think I call it a day and stick with my 105W and +170core/+770mem oc

otherwise any vbios + same DEVICE ID can be used "nvflash" for new TDP

    nvflash64 -6 bios.rom
    -6 "overdrive subsystem"

and second problem need OC skill - power problems
notebook EC fw / AC adapter is for lower TDP ,.,.,possitible need correction

    ,.,.and heating "use better pads"
but you still risk a defect ,., i think MAXQ - less resistors

best option "if still exist on RTX" - afterburner "voltage curve limit" under TDP
CORE max OC offset .,,.memory no need OC for RTX ?? "and memory draw all power on board " - increases the faster performance limit !

but best is OSD in game or LOG "real-time info for usage"
"memory OC " is lower GPU usage - lower TDP usage
"core OC" is best for full usage // or old games

// fps limiter or vsync / halfsync
    for gaming on notebook performance

RTX is 87C max before slowdown

    edit
hwinfo + afterburner // OSD - riva server
this combo is best for better results // performance tuning
