Only issue with that second video was...testing was done at maximum fan speed. From what I saw we never saw stock thermal solution cooling which is more important.

I don't think we're all going to be running max fans just to game. :D

Specially if you don't live alone :p hahahaha.

My wife got annoyed just by the mechanical keyboard sound of my MSI GT80 :D

When I changed from my GT80 to GT73, it was the first time my wife noticed I had changed laptops. Mainly because there was no more typing noise. It's true!

I get the stink eye whenever I use my external. Thinking of investing in one of those silent red keyboards to see if it makes a difference there.

Considering a new RTX 2080(70) laptop,

there's not many offers atm in my country (fr) but I was tempted by the

GS65 at first but it seems too shiny to be honest ^^

then on the less good looking (better cooling I guess) side there is the GE63 available with the 2080 as well as the Clevo P750 or 751 (difference?) not sure from uk's PCspecialists, those 2 last seem quite on the same level of (not so slick) finish but better cooling,

    how do they compare?

A GE63 is not at the same level of a P750, that's for sure. A comparison GT63 vs P750 can be considered, that GE63 is a totally different story imho.

Nope, I mean you are comparing a total BGA Laptop (GE63) with a fully upgradable LGA Desktop Replacement (P750).

By upgradable you mean cpu/ram/hd wise?
Independent mxm gpus being kind of jokes for billionaires, ram/hdrive upgrades being avaible on most of the laptops for gamers and upgrading i7 cpus not really bringing much value, I don't really see the real benefit of a custom laptop besides choosing the config and the case independently.
