Today my HP RTX 3000 arrived. In SG-Mode it works fine in AW18. But installing this card is a disaster. For testing I took an M18X R2 Heatsink, because with AW18 Heatsink I need a dremel. It doesn’t sit very well on the card. The next thing is how to get this card sitting perfectly on the MXM slot. The mounting holes are displaced. So I have to build a bracket to hold the card. But the good thing is the card is @stock as fast as a P5000/1070 and works with the newest driver(mod.inf)

Great work! I'd love to see how it fits in the M18x and Ranger.

This is awesome! Was a VBIOS mod required? You plugged it in and it just worked? My mouth is watering for just one more upgrade on my Ranger.

    Just... One... More... Upgrade!!!

No VBIOS mod was required. I plugged in, Bios showed the card and it worked.

The fact that his is possible is a testament to how far Workstations have fallen.

I'm frustrated with the stupidity of all the companies that abandoned standard MXM. If HP can fit these Quadro cards onto a card almost exactly the size of standard MXM 3.0B board, there's no reason everyone needed to go off and make their own weird cards.

At least I know for certainty now that I can perform at least one more upgrade on my Ranger.

The only thing you have to do is modify your Heatsink and maybe build a bracket to hold the card.

    Nice.
Could you do same 3dMark benchmarks like Firestrike and Timespy, please.

Next days I‘m trying to mod the Heatsink to get this card fully working.
