Hello I am just wondering if anyone has any experience in repasting this particular model, since I couldn't really find any information online.

What type of thermal compound are you going to use?
To remove existing thermal paste, use WD40 mixed with a paper towel, simply wipe the surface with it then it should come off easy.

I am still debating on using LM since I need to carry my laptop from time to times, but my original though process is that I apply LM to gpu and cpu and the heatsink and for the other (chips?) I am not sure if I used the correct word there I use a paste that is not LM. Oh and doesn't WD40 leave a protective layer that stays on and could cause problems?

It may leave a little bit of oil but if you want to get rid of that then use alcohol afterwards.
